Reminder:  School is in session on April 18 and April 21!

We wanted to remind you that the Spring Concert is Thursday, April 24, at 6:30 pm, and all of the 4th and 5th grade students are involved.  All of the students in vocal music are asked to wear khaki pants, or skirt, tennis shoes, and a light weight shirt.  Please have your child here no later than 6:15 pm, and send them to the music room where they will receive their performance t-shirt.  The concert should be over by 7:15 pm.

Is your student in need of some extra help with schoolwork?  Tutoring is being offered by Mrs. Christina Bartlett, a regular sub at Stockwell.  If you are interested, please call her at 812-677-2932.

Information regarding Full-Day Summer Childcare is available in the Stockwell daycare office located in the cafeteria.

Please remember that school hours are 7:55 a.m until 2:16 p.m.  Students are expected to be in their seats and ready to learn at 7:55 each morning.  Tardies are on the rise and parents are encouraged to have their students here on time each morning and through dismissal at 2:16.

Please contact the office if you are interested in an application for the weekend backpack program.  The program is sponsored by the Tri State Food Bank and provides meals for students for the weekend.

Research has shown that starting the day with a nutritious breakfast helps students stay alert and perform better in school.  A nutritious breakfast is available each day from 7:30 a.m.until 7:55 a.m. in your school cafeteria.  The regular price for breakfast is $1.25.  Reduced price breakfast is $.30.  The breakfast menu can be found on the EVSC web site.

Don't forget your .25 this Friday for popcorn or animal crackers!  Popcorn days are every Friday!
