Bosse Receives Bronze Ranking

Bosse  has reason to celebrate! This spring, Bosse received a Bronze ranking from the U.S. News Best High Schools for 2013. Out of 21,035 public high schools that were evaluated, Bosse was one of 105 to receive a gold or bronze medal. Congratulations to Bosse!

Fall 2013

Welcome to Another Exciting School Year,

We are back and in full swing. We have transitioned to a “Block” schedule this year and after a few days; I think that we have adjusted. There were many advantages to going to “Block” and we believe that it is a better schedule for our students. There are fewer interruptions during class time and classes are longer in length and there is less time being spent in the hallways between classes. The real upside is that students only have a maximum of 4 classes per day.

Our athletic schedules are also in full swing. We are only scheduled for four (4) home football games and we have already played one. Our next one will be September 13 and it will be our Homecoming. We encourage all of our Bosse families to come out and support our students.

I continue to ask for your support and assistance with our “Dress for Success” program. Our students are doing much better with adhering to the rules, but they still need your encouragement. Any help you can give us will be greatly appreciated.

We have so many great things planned for our students this year and we want each of you to be part of that. As I go into my 5th year here, I am having a wonderful time. Why? Because you have such great kids and I love being around them. I feel very blessed to have the opportunity to be their principal. Thank you for your support.

Our school is always open to you. Please feel free to stop by any time. Get involved, know your child’s teachers and more importantly, know who they are associating with. If there is ever anything that you need from me to help ensure the success of your child(ren) while here at Bosse, don’t hesitate to let me know.

Again, thank you for giving me the opportunity to serve you and your child. I look forward to meeting new parents and establishing great relationships with you and renewing relationships with those of you who have been here for a while. Take care!

Respectfully,

Ms. Huff
